Do you have Heavy Duty/Brembo brakes on your 2.0t?
Can someone with the heavy duty brake package (Brembo?) possibly post some pictures of your front calipers?
I suspect that the ATS brembo and Camaro may be the same caliper, but they have different part numbers (the ATS caliper says cadillac on it, I'm guessing the Camaro caliper says something else, hence the different part number?) If I had some good pictures I might be able to see if the ATS brembo calipers will bolt on (with the correct rotors, and brackets of course)... Reason I'm wondering this is that usually the ATS brembo's can be picked up much cheaper than the Camaro calipers. The calipers can easily be painted/modifed to get rid of the "cadillac" script, so I'm all for saving money... I picked up a set of Caddy brembos to adapt to my 72 Chevelle, pictures below of one I've modified. This swap should be even easier on a car that was meant to use them in the first place... |

Love the detailing on the 'Chevelle' calipers! Unless someone beats me to it I'll throw some pics up friday morning (first chance I'll get)...

Doing a little more research, I see that the ATS Coupe Brembo rotors are the same part number as the I4 Camaro heavy duty rotors but the Sedan has different part numbers... |

Wow, great job on the calipers. I'm not sure I really need the brembo's but hey, they look amazing.

I got a set from one of the guys that upgraded to 6 piston, we put them on the front of the 2.0T that was a good deal at $350.

Did they bolt right on to the stock caliper brackets? Or did the calipers come with different mounting brackets? I went to the dealer yesterday and they could not find the brackets that fit the brembo calipers (J55 specific), and the computer didn't say if the stock brake (JL9) caliper brackets were the same for the brembo... The brembo rotors were $2 cheaper than the stock rotors though lol. What was involved in the brake swap? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

All we did was buy new V8 bolts, it all fit, the backing plate was off the V8 car to.

I had these blasted and coated with Cerakote heat dissipation coating prior to doing the engraving on the mill. Could also do a variety of ceramic coating colors, but in MY mind, brakes are not something you want to KEEP the heat IN, so I went with the heat dissipation coating, which only comes in the one color, that is very similar to the stock caliper coating color (at least on the caddy calipers) And yes, I only paid about $200 for the calipers off used ebay. There is a couple cheap sets on there right now I'm hoping to pick one up for the Camaro. |

We'll see how they turn out and I'm hoping they will bolt onto the car with the correct bolts, lines, and dust shields... Will report back when they are done. |
