Anybody tried another rear axle fluid?

Looks like both Gen5 and 6 SS/V8 require the same GM rear axle fluid.
Did anybody try a different fluid? maybe something that will last better for an occasional track abuse?
Thanks

I had Redline w/ Shockproof in my Gen5 SS and my C6 GrandSport and didn't have any noise or issues.

If GM doesn't get this Gen6 OEM fill thing squared away soon, I'll be doing my own thing with it.. Mine's back in the shop for the rear noise and what feels like slip/release on left hard turns when cold.

Mobil 1 got noisy in about 1.5K miles. I went back to the factory fill called out in the 1st print and no noise at all in over 3K miles.
