Mesh sun screen for rear window

We have a Mercedes in the shop now that has a motorized mesh retractable sun screen for it's back glass. You can see through it, so driving with it isn't an issue, which I like. It got me wondering if a mesh screen for my Camaro might help keep it cooler when parked in the sun. The all black interior really heats up the whole car. I have to keep all my windows closed all day while it's parked at the shop or the interior would just be covered in dust from all the sanding done daily.

Anyone use this kind of sun screen in their car? If so, how do you like it and have you found one that fits right? I don't want something I have to take out everytime I need to hop in and go. I'm worried the severe angle of the glass might make visibility, even through mesh, an issue though.

Tint

I have Limo Tint, really dark, on my back window along with the small side windows, if you can call them windows.

The tint law in MA sucks. Even with what's considered legal tint, cops hassle the hell out of anyone with even sightly darkened windows. At least where I live they do, don't want to deal with getting pulled over constantly because of it.

That sounds pretty cool (no pun intended). Is there any way you could upload pics or even a short video of this? Is it aftermarket, or did the car happen to come with that?

Air90 on the windshield (or Air80 but you need a doctors note for that), ceramic tint and done.

It is pretty cool. I'm not at the shop at the moment, but it's a 98 e300 turbo diesel. The shade is not aftermarket.

Here's a youtube video of it, same shade as in the one at the shop.

Damn, I actually really like that!

I'm planning on getting a window tint anyway once my car gets here, but I do still think that is pretty snazzy.
