Thin Paint on front bumper
I'm not overly particular about paint inconsistencies but I did ask the service manager at the dealer while they were working on the recall issue and he did say that paint looks like it was thin in the top part of the front bumper. Shows more on silver cars. You can see it more if you are looking at the front of the vechicle. Looks like uneven spray marks.
Dealer scheduled it to be repainted in the next few weeks. See pic. Any of you guys run into this problem?

The rest of the body looks fine. If you focus on the section above the light headlights that's where you can see the uneven paint. Some areas are darker than others.
I'm glad the dealer volunteered without too much fuss. Plus it's only a 3 day job.

This doesn't look like thin paint, it looks like blotchy base coat, then cleared, or contaminated clear, either way , I suspect they will pull the entire front cap Repaint it and put it back on. A local body shop can match this perfectly as it's a new car, silver is easy to match perfectly.

Yeah I thought it was more blotchy than thin. But that was the term the dealer used. Either way, I'm glad they are repainting. Make sure to check this area in your cars as well.

I've looked at quite a few , paint is thin . I will never buy a early build . They should go back to people painting the robots don't have eye's .
