Switched Fuse locations under hood?
Getting ready to hard wire a radar detector and to add an ALP laser jammer system. I though about using a mirror tap for the detector, but I would rather have it hooked to a regular fused connection so I don't potentially have to remove the overhead console area cover to change a fuse. I'll use an "add a fuse" type of fuse connector to provide power.
There are a lot of unused fuse locations in the fuse box under the hood. Does anyone know which blank spaces would provide switched power, so they would only be hot when the car is running or in accessory mode? Thanks for any help. If it comes down to it I will spend some time figuring out which ones are switched power using a multi meter. I know I could use an existing switched only fuse location and install it like a piggy-back but I would prefer to use a blank location. |
