gaps above instrument cluster??

Not much activity on this thread I posted under Camaro issues. Wonder if you folks have noticed these gaps above your instrument cluster? I tried to manually adjust but no luck, and don't want to force it for fear of breaking something.

Yes I have them too....looks like hassle to correct....might add some trim later to hide it....

You got no responses because there is no fix. It's obvious it was designed that way to carry the panel step across the dash as you can see if you follow the line along the dash to the right. To flush it would require a transition somewhere. Where would you put it that would not be obvious, or look worse? They decided to do this symmetrical approach to (sort of) "Matching" the panels and cut lines..Plus, I'm sure it was cheaper to do it this way......

Price does not dictate interior fit and quality. Both cheaper cars and more expensive cars would have dealt with this differently maybe...It is what it is.

Yup, got the same. I have no issue with it. Flows with the lines and even on both sides.

....at least you weren't texting while driving

Mine has the gaps, but not the red arrows. But I don't have a red interior....
