V6 gas mileage
I asked this before but was told DI engines get better gas mileage after putting some miles on the car.
Does anyone have a MANUAL V6 that they have put some miles on and can tell me what mpg they are getting. Please do not post your v8 mileage or automatic. V6 manual only. |

Well,.. I don't really have many miles on it,.. only about 800. It is a V6 Manual though. I'm getting about 30 freeway I when I'm just cruising, but mine is a DD so my real mileage including all the traffic and such is about 22-23 average so far.
Pretty good for the HP this car has! My 98 Corolla doing the same drive got about 28. Whiskey |

My current one gets 31-33 on long clear freeway trips. Figured with the loss of weight it would be better :(
