Newbe question concerning exhaust tips
I have the 2016 Camaro SS with the optional NPP exhaust. Why do the outer exhaust tips (activated in Sport or track mode) have a black deposit (carbon?) on the interior of the tip and the inner exhaust tips do not have a deposit?

Why? Because the large majority of the exhaust is directed out of the outboard pipes when in sport or track mode (Valves open). As Glen said, it's normal
