Interior Trim Kit Question

Hey all, new to the forums... just ordered my first Camaro (2016, 2LT).

I didn't originally choose any of the interior trim kits because I like the all black look on the interior, so went with Nightfall Grey Metallic exterior and Jet-black interior. My question is, does anyone recommend the Black Sueded Knee Pads over the stock black interior?

When building out on the build tool I see a slight difference on the interior image when I check the black sueded knee pad trim kit, but I'm curious how it would look in person. Is the material used for it better in some way than the standard black plastic/rubber material used?

Any opinions are appreciated!

Well, sueded material DOES offer more grip than leather or plastic. So if you think you will be bracing yourself on the knee pads, I guess it would be good.

Or if you just like touching / looking at suede, I guess you should get it.

Thanks! Sounds like I'm good leaving that option off... I thought maybe it would be more durable, look better, etc... Seems like I'll be fine with standard interior trim.

The 2LT comes with leather knee bolsters. They are nice.

I love Suede so I got the Suede kneepads and I'll let you now how awsome they are when I get my car....

They put all that Suede in the 1LE, not leather.

I love suede. When I get my new SS 1LE I plan to have the inserts on the rear seats done to match the front recaros. I will be ordering the car with the suede knee pads also.
