[2016SS]

Hello everyone so i just ordered on Decmeber 31 my first Camaro 2SS i have never owned one before and am looking forward to it.

Ordered a 2016 Camaro 2SS Summit white 6 speed with black rims Magnetic ride control, dual mode exhaust, black Chevy emblems, black knee pads, illuminated foot wells, jet black interior and basically everything else that comes with the 2SS trim level.

I own a 2006 Nissan 350Z that i'm trading in on the delivery of my new car before that though i had a 2008 Cobalt SS Turbo fully bolted and tuned.

I know it may be cross shopping a bit from a Z to Camaro but i think i made the right choice and i have owned a SS before that believe it or not had outstanding performance for a 4 cylinder.

12 to 16 weeks the dealer said it would be to build it, first time doing a build and price but not the first time buying new i'm in Ontario so it should arrive by spring snow here now so it should work out just right.

Congrats! You basically ordered the exact color, trim and options that I want to get. What did you think of it when compared to the Z? I had 2006 350z as well, but it got traded away a long time ago.

kdu well i will say the Camaro has a higher dash/window sills then the Z but the Camaro feels light years ahead of it in technology the seats are the most comfortable i have ever sat in including a Cadillac CTS i owned.

My Z is fully bolted and tuned minus headers and the SS out performs it easily stock.

It's different that is for sure i have only test drove a blue 2SS that helped me make my decision to order the colors i wanted.

Z's are great cars they are fun easy to whip around but i really need more seat time when my order comes in to know better but i'm sure i will forget about the Z cause of all that torque lol

Nice congratulations on your vin & retirement! I was at my dealership yesterday and my order number basically said they have not started to build it yet but i'm not to worried winter here in Ontario.

I'm 32 so i have a ways to go to retire i own a construction/painting company that has been a success for now so looking forward to what the future holds.

Our last time in Canada was '02 (Niagra w Mom & son in my '01 Prius
(Her name is Baby) & she now has 273,000 miles & my neighbor's
wife uses her to drive 1.5 Mi to work each day, just to maintain the
HV battery system.

Time before that I was 19, it's Christmas 1977 & my college bud & I drove my
'71 barracuda to Montreal (to exchange money in a foot of snow)
& then to Quebec to spend a night drinking et parles fraincais--even had
a parking ticket from Le Vieux Cartier hung on my wall for years.

That's too funny. I also ordered my white 1SS on Dec 31. Also from Ontario and hoping for spring delivery. I certainly don't want it to show up in March with snow/salt on the ground!
