Outside Temperature Display

Just got my 2016 Camaro SS in Red Hot, question on the outside temperature display on the My Link display, on the upper right is time display and upper left should be outside temperature display but all it shows is _ _ o (o is for degrees abbreviaton), is there a setting or is the outside sensor bad? Also supposed to come with options Bkack Tie package and f& R all weather mats but they said both missing and ordered, said they are back ordered on windiw sticker with dealer installed. Traded in a Challenger as my dealer had 30% off msrp, gm gave 20% and they additional 10%, so from 46k to 32k

Sounds like the senior is bad or a connector isn't making proper contact to me.

Awesome deal there OP, congrats! Hope you enjoy the new ride. What is your impression as compared to your Challenger so far?

For MyLink issues, although this will sound dumb, you should try disconnecting the battery first before taking it into the dealership. This might reset it and allow it to poll the sensor. A lot of weird issues can be fixed this way because the unit is technically always in standby mode, even when the car is off, unless you cut the battery.

Agreed, pull the negative battery post for 10 minutes, that usually does it, you won't lose any of your important settings.....it's very simple to do with a 10 mm wrench, and the trunk gives you a little door to do it.

Working today, battery probably caused it as the original battery in showroom totally dead they charged it but started slow so they put in new battery before I left, only had 6 miles. Waiting on black bow tie package and all weather mats as they supposedly did not come in car, build date 5/16, also compared to Challenger much better handling, ride, the challenger had a boulevard ride and roomier interior and rear seats. Better quality materials on Camaro.
