When do you think 2017 Camaro will show up?

According to Autoblog, Chevy just put out the upgrade list for the 2017 Volt, I believe the Volt went on sale in the same time-frame as the Camaro, when can we start to expect the 2017 MY information to come out?

Also, what additional features would you guys expect on the 2017?

Im betting active cruise and PDR as an option. Possibly tied together in a technology package.

What could we see added to it?? I was going to order around February. Might as well wait a bit if that's the case!!! If you tell me they are adding (while keeping the price the same) front cameras for parking or something like that, I'd wait!

the 2016 volt was a short run for rebate and tax incentives, and the 2017 will be a early run for it. Completely different for the camaro

March 25th, 2016 will be the new Z## Camaro debut at the NY Auto Show. Meaning MY 2017 for the order books.

I SINCERELY HOPE they will release the 1LE at this time.... but if 5th Gen rollouts are anything to go by... the 1LE parts will become available in the GM Performance Catalogue for 2017 and the 1LE factory option will come out for 2018...

Again, I truly hope they dont wait that long, considering the Shelby competition....

Are you basing March 25th off the numbers on the side of the prototype?

I don't see why the 6th gen would follow the 5th gen. The 5th gen 1LE wasn't an official project and came after the ZL1. It looks like the 6th gen 1LE has been testing along side the Z**, so there is no reason for GM to delay it.

Why would they put out a 1LE type car a year into production? It was 3 years on the 5th gen.

Because demand. When they launched the 5th gen after the hiatus, they wanted to be sure there was going to be a decent demand for it and had to really research a winning formula (it's not as simple as big tires/wheels and done).

This time around, they already know the basics of what should be done and can get it to production quicker. The 4th gen 1LE was released the year after the 4th gen's launch.

There is no rule that says they have to wait 2-3 years for a 1LE. I was hoping that they were going to make a 2016 1LE to be an answer to the Mustang GT Performance Pack, but the standard SS was already enough to best it. The new 1LE with compete for sales against the base GT350. Likely you will get a fully loaded 1LE for less than a bare bones GT350.

Why would they wait when Ford has the GT PP and GT350/R in production?
