How bad is the oil change in a '16?
Has anyone changed their own oil yet? How bad is it? Will ramps work to get under it, or do you need jacks?

Access to the 2SS drain plug and filter is easy once you have it in the air. Ramps will work but it will be tight unless you have tall ramps. A floor jack with a 2x4 spacer and jack stands with rubber pads work fine if you don't have the ZL1 pinch weld adaptors.
Another method to get access to the front is to use two floor jacks (one on each side) to jack the car up and then slide rhino ramps under the front wheels. Of course - a lift is the best of all. My lift is ready but awaiting a high lift garage door installation so I can assemble it inside my garage. |

Using lift rails and race ramps is another option.

Awesome. Great pics. Thanks!
Looks like the filter is easy to get to as well. Need to chase down the ZL1 adaptors. |

I should be doing the first oil change next week and hoping I can squeeze under my harbor freight ramps. I do have low profile floor jack and stands but ramps I hope will be easier.
