Talking Preserving a Collector's Item

i just did a little project with my window sticker to preserve it and show it off. Started with orange construction paper as the back color because my base color is IOM, then the second layer is black for the added on options that i got: black stripe package, and got the ground effects and had them painted black. Then the window sticker sits on top of all the layers. Had it all laminated to preserve it so it wont fade, then put it in a black frame. Here is the finished product:

Been meaning to do something similar, but hadn't gotten around to it. Yours look great, maybe I will "git 'r done" soon.

Nicely done.

I pulled mine out and to my surprise it looks like it is beginning to yellow. I was also thinking about framing mine as someone had posted their framed window sticker. Any bod els notice theirs turning yellow?

I went up to OfficeMax and had them laminate it for like $2.50. I would recomend doing that even if you plan on putting it in a frame.

I like it. I laminated mine the first day & made digital copies. Now it just sits there.

yeah i did. i stacked the orange, black, window sticker layers together, then a co worker of mine also works at a public school and he laminated all the layers as one. Got it from him today, trimmed around the edges and put it in the frame. Plan on using it to display the car when i go to the F Body Event in May. Sorry guys no Camaro Fest for me, maybe next year, and by then my buddy might have one.

Thanks for the positive feedback!

Mine has also turned yellow. However it's from eating Cheetos and watching the Playboy channel all day!

Recently did something similar to mine. Waited till Hobby Lobby had their framing for half off ......It is still wrapped in the plastic so there's some tape around the frame holding the plastic over the framing.
