I got a hommework question, need help
Could someone tell me 5 reasons a car would shimmy and vibrate, my instructor give us questions like these every night
and I'm stumped ![]() Where the hell is spike when you need em, lol

You mean while driving? Unbalanced wheels, bent rims, etc, cause vibrations in the steering wheel.

Do all they have to be driving? If not then a misfiring cylinder can cause a vibration at idle. Or a big cam can always cause a little shaking

A car with screwy cylinder deactivation will shudder a bit.
Same with cars with engine start/stop hybrid tech.

Vibration when slowing down is the rotors and if the lugnuts aren't tight and good, it'll shake as well.
Those are the only experiences I've had with a shaky wheel.

Hope this gives you a couple of ideas.
