Got a letter from Mary Barra today

I received a letter from Mary Barra today about the ignition switch recall on three of my previous vehicles. It lists those vehicles in the letter.
I was just wondering if anyone else has gotten a letter like this and what you think about it?

Got one too for the 2009 Sky Redline..........that we sold 3 years ago.

I havent gotten anything from GM about my 2014 Camaro SS Key but I wouldnt let them replace it anyways...

I sold my Sky to get a 2010 Camaro back in 2009, the Cobalt was sold in 2008, and the HHR was sold in 2011. I think it was to let people know that even though you don't have the cars any more if you were involved in an accident with injuries or death with the airbags not going off in them you can still file a claim.
I was just surprised to get one is why I posted and asked if anyone had gotten a similar letter.

i got one couple weeks ago but we still have our HHR. i still would like to know how the hell anyone can hit their knee on the Camaro key tho...

No letter yet but my key recall has been in their system for a few months now.

This is obviously a FYI as well as damage control. And I think it's working. GM's sales haven't been affected by any of this.
