How many times have you been shut down in the fast lane by someone going well under the posted speed limit and perfectly matching the speed of some slow moving vehicle in the right lane (usually a big truck for some reason)?
And then, when finally you get an opening to go around them, how many times have they immediately sped up to match your speed and stay directly next to you even if it is 10 or 15 mph faster than they've been driving for the last 10 miles? People are sheep.

Last night 2 18 wheelers took up both lanes (was only 2 at the time) going 70 in a 75

In my experience, it's usually trucks that do this. I almost wonder if they do it on purpose just to break some of the boredom of driving all day every day.
It's even more annoying on the interstate between my town and Madison. That stretch is three lanes wide, and having them do it three wide just adds that much more to the irritation.

All the time. But its not that their going to slow. Its just that i'm going way to fast. Even for the fast lane. Here in PA The speed limit is 55. I ride 80 in the fast lane. Really its not a fast lane at all. Its just a passing lane but everyone abuses it

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. I experience this alot, especially people who speed up after I pass them.
Bottom line is people are sheep and oblivious to their surroundings while driving. I've been in the back seat of cars before and noticed the driver never looked in their side and rear view mirrors. It makes me feel unsafe as a passenger...
