i thought you guys might be interested in this. a guy from another forum (not a car forum) is rebuilding a supra and put a corvette engine in it. or in his words:
"We take out this Japanese 3 liter coffee machine and swap to the most powerful small block engine ever built." ![]() here's a bunch of pics etc. he's not done yet, more to come. |

it seems like the LS3 is the new LS1 for putting in whatever you can find. For instance this (it would be great if the LS3 could sound like this thing does and be street legal)

That looks like a ton of work, but I bet you'll find a VERY happy man when it's done. Can you imagine taking that thing to the track and having people laugh at you until you drop the hammer and leave them behind. That car was pretty light IIRC.

I love my MKIV supra and it holds shit loads of power on stock motor. But i do love LS3s dont get me wrong |

They wouldn't dare put one of those in a MKIV.

yea a LS motor is a down grade to the 2jz motor from the supra. lol i dont think the guy will be noticing a power difference, just difference in noise
