Just a simple rendering of a Gen 5 Camaro after a diet?
I love my Gen 5 Camaro and I don't think it needs a radical redesign, just enough enough of a change to make the thing look a little less...tubby. Make the dimensions a bit smaller and put a corset around the middle lol.

Funny you should mention this, I've been modifying one of Brunogadget's renderings to my tastes and have been very frustrated that my version just looks too much like a slimmed-down 5th gen (which isn't a bad thing, just not differentiated enough to call a 6th gen to my eyes). I can post it here when it's in a more finalized state since you asked.

I think in reality this type of change would only result in a lower belt line but a larger roof "bubble", which is going to change the look of the car in a negative way I feel. Unless somehow you can engineer changes in the cabin to put the driver/passengers lower in the vehicle you won't be able to lower the roof along with the beltline.
That said, I'd love to see what you come up with.

Imagine that with the 2013 Camaro nose/grille on it and it'd be really close. Then scale the body down a little bit. This is the Corvette concept they used in one of the Transformers movies and you can see some of the current Camaro design cues. The body isn't as tall but it still has that striking roofline. |

...FYI to all, it's been out there for some that< at least a year or so and I can't remember exactly the GM Exec that was quoted on it, maybe Fitz... but...> the next Gen will be evolutionary, not revolutionary.
