Average labor hours for the following parts?

Lowering springs - 2 hrs?
Long tube headers/cat back exhaust - 2 hrs?
ADM FPCM - 1 hr?
Zl1 Fuel Pump - 4 hrs?
JRE Fuel Line Mod - 1 hr?
Custom tune - $500?

Thanks

Most shops charge 3 hours for long tubes only. Cat back I have no idea. If you don't have the time it's understandable, but if you did the headers and catback you'll save yourself hundreds

I installed headers, cats, full exhaust in exactly 3 hours, first time doing it on a camaro. I'm sure someone that's done several could do headers/cats in 2 hours or less.

What it can be done in, and what shops charge are vastly different most of the time. Is he looking for what a well experienced setup person can do them in, or average labor time charged to do a job?

How much time it takes is directly related to how 'right' you want the work done. Right is subjective. We have spent an hour getting one exhaust tip centered in the rear fascia for a client that wanted it just right.

I'm just trying get a better idea of how many hours it takes to do each job (performance shop)

Justice Pete you are exactly right. I do 20+ exhaust systems a month on C5, 6, 7 Corvettes. I can have the exhaust on and off in 30 minutes. Then it may take an hour to line up the tip properly. It does not matter what brand of exhaust you buy, none of the tips line up without a lot of work.

I just finished installing a set of long tube headers on a C6 Corvette. They are from a well known company that is a sponsor of this forum. The left side is rubbing on a brake line. The right side would not even go on without having to cut off part of a pinch weld on the frame. These headers are total junk and required a lot more work and modifications in order to fit. You get what you pay for in parts and labor.
