Driving Music
I've seen sillier posts than this. So besides turning off the audio system and listening to the exhaust, what do you C6 owners have on your music playlists to accompany spirited drives? I'm guessing answers will vary with drivers' ages. Being older than the Camaro myself, here are 3 of my musical relics: Deep Purple's Highway Star, Led Zeppelin's Achilles' Last Stand and The Song Remains The Same.

Well, being almost as old as the Camaro... my favorite is Van Halen! But really depends on my mood, I have pretty varied tastes for a middle aged dude!

Ah, Van Halen - before the days of power seats when you could 'reach down between your legs and ease the seat back a bit's ...

Late 40's here...I usually go straight to the Pandora Thumbprint channel & here a mix of mostly the likes of RUSH, Tom Petty, AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Dire Straights, Clapton & such. Will hit a few Texas Singer song writers like Cory Morrow & Charlie Robinson, etc.
I handle all kinds of tunes & like blue grass along the lines of Allison Krause & Union station, certain blues & jazz, even Christian rock, but always lean towards the traditional true older classic rock. Only thing I will not tolerate is rap, which is pure noise pollution. Sirius stations are Ozzy, classic vinyl & rock, etc...Pandora has a Texas Blues Station which is pretty cool too. |

I've gotten to hang out with the FFDP crew a few times & the guys from KORN also. The FFDP guys are AWESOME! Really down to earth & they show a lot of appreciation for us military folks. Munky from KORN was hilarious to be around - him & a stage hand were shooting bottle rockets at each other after a show. He signed my son's guitar & I got a pic of Munky with my son & son's friend. Priceless memories of both groups - every time I hear either group on the radio, I crank it up!
