That would be nice, then with lightweight battery, racing seats and a lighter exhaust you could drop another 100-150lbs off that. That could mean sub 3500lbs autocross weight.

I bet it will hit in the 3750 lb range. +/- 10 lbs.

So.. This is looking promising to me. I was a bit worreid because of the tire size.
The stock tires on SS weigh a total of 126 pounds. I found 4 Pirelliz P Zero tires in the 1LE size and they total 114.. Obviously not runflats. I may revise my numbers after going over each item. Haha. |

Getting rid of those runflats on the SS is a great way to save around 5 pounds a corner. (Same size)

I really don't see a lot of weight increase. Surely not 70 pounds worth. MRC will add what, 10 pounds? Seats, leather, HUD will add let's say 15. Wheels and tires should be the same. I'm not sure how much brakes add.
3,720 sounds good. |

I will say somewhere around 3720-3730 pounds...I don't see it being more than that. Yes, it has fancier seats, bigger brakes, wider wheels, etc...but the wheels are forged, the tires are non run flats (lighter), and MRC and the other stuff doesn't weigh much.
For the SS 1LE, though...your title just says "1LE". |

How so? If the guess of 3725 is with a full tank of gas, you can take 10 gallons from that, maybe more. That's 60+lbs. Race seats driver and passenger are 25llbs each, so we'll call that another 50lbs. Lightweight Burns mufflers and stainless tubing, you can have a full exhaust for 25-30 lbs. those stock muffler are probably 30-40lbs each. So there is another 40lbs saved. Leightweight batter I run in my Corvette is 3.75lbs. What's he stock battery weigh, 50lbs? So that's another 46lbs saving. and trunk mat, floor mats and any other anciarly item that can be removed from the cabin of the car is another 25lbs.
3725-60-50-40-46-25= 3504lbs |

The tires may be heavier, but I would think the new forged wheels would weigh less than the stock cast wheels....Some of the FE4 components may have some weight savings if they use more composite or lighterweight materials....
