Barf!
Why would that screwball want to compete with the MachE? That turd is dead in the water and Ford can’t sell them anymore.

EV and 4-doors? LOL, these empty suits have no clue. Maybe they are going for the soccer-mom demographic? No Camaro aficionado wants a 4 door Camaro powered by a battery that sounds like a child's toy. Glad I got mine while it was still a real American muscle car.

The empty suits (whatever that means) at least know that not enough people were buying Gen6 Camaros and the answer from many here isn’t build a different Camaro with broader appeal, it’s to slam the GM that killed the Camaro not enough people were buying.

Again, for the 1,000th time, the Gen6 was the best performing Camaro imaginable. But it was designed based on the feedback from the Camaro Disciples. A small group of enthusiasts that just wanted MOHR of what the Gen5 was. And that’s what we got. A car not designed for broad appeal, but a car designed for a limited few diehard Camaro fans. And the result was an awesome car with limited appeal resulting poor sales. GM didn’t fail us in 2024, they failed us in 2013 when the Gen6 was concepted.

Right? Camaro buyers don’t want Mach Es and they don’t want practical. Mach Es are dead and if I want practical I’ll drive the Blazer.

While this is probably what will happen, I'll pay attention when it's a real thing.

I stopped at "If General Motors president Mark Reuss has his way".

Actually, more like "If". I'm sick of that word.

The four-door Camaro is the obvious follow-on to the 2019 model that gave the SS a Charger front end...

I might be tempted if they left it at 2 doors EV sports coupe and made it a competitive performer with fun gimics that bring alittle life into the EV and gets decent range and respectable recharge times. But if they just throw it on a generic EV chassis with no personality other than a family sedan and expect it to appeal, it's going to fall flat on its face and disgrace the name of Camaro. They should use the term Malibu or Impala and let the Camaro die.

That article refers to another article from last June. A lot has changed since then. Don't think it will happen any time soon.
