Powerstop pad question

Can anyone who has these ceramic pads that work correctly that you are happy with please tell me the correct part numbers for both front and rear? The Z26 pad is what I am talking about. It seems that there is some question about the fronts. The rears seem to be 1053 but the fronts may be either 1405 or 1835. Just want to be sure we get the right ones. They have already sent us SS Camaro pads and they are wrong. Thanks for the help!!!!!!! John

The 1405 pads definitely are not the right pad. I have them in now. I have a set of the 1835 pads on the way for Monday. I'll compare them to the stock pad, when they get here.

As I've said in the other 2 threads on Powerstop pads, the fronts are Z26-1835. They have match the stock pads so they sweep across the whole rotor.

The rears however are NOT the 1718s, while they technically "fit" the caliper they are too short and don't sweep the entire rotor down to the hat like the stock pads. I BELIEVE the Z26-1053 pads are what you need for the rears but I've yet to receive them in the mail to test with.

looking forward to your test fit. Even if you go on their web site and ask for 2016 Z06 pads which are supposed to be the same you don't get those 2 stock numbers. We called them and they said they don't have pads that fit 17' ZL1!!!

They just aren't aware that the 17 ZL1 has basically the same brake setup as the 16 CTS-V does.

I read on here in another thread that the brakes where the same as C7 Z06. When you look up those part numbers they are different from the CTS-V both front and rear. Confusing as to what is right.

I read that too and repeated it myself but then corrected it in one of the other threads. They are different.

so the Z06 pads will probably fit but the pad area is much less. So stopping power will be less if you screw up and use that pad.

So the rear Z26-1053 pads finally showed up yesterday and they look to be the correct ones but I won't know for sure until I put them in this weekend. I did take a picture of the 1053 next to the 1718 just to show the difference between the two. While the 1718 technically fits in the caliper it's NOT the correct pad for the rear of these cars because it is physically shorter top to bottom. The 1053 looks like it matches the dimensions of the stock rear pads.

1053 on the left and 1718 on the right, don't have a picture of the stock pad on hand.
