18 X 12 Square
315/30/18

Yokohoma (fastest cold)
Nankang (fast cold and stays fast warm)
Falken (fast warm)

18X11 front if you don't want to run spacers/do some grinding based on your front shocks.

Best regards,
Dave

Thanks for the reply SCCAForum

Last season, my first in the 2021 1SS 1LE Camaro, I ran on Apex 19 x 11 wheels with 305 Falkens on all four corners. Other than the wheels, alignment and carbotech ax pads the car was stock.

This season I was looking to run on Apex 18 x 11 wheels and up the tire size to A052 315's on all four and was looking for some confirmation. I will be adding front camber plates and rear toe rods to allow for more clearance and more camber at both ends.

If you don't mind me asking, why the 12" wheels with the 315's?

Your description of the tires makes sense. Our first event this year (last weekend) was in the mid 30's, overcast and windy. The A052's dominated the top times.

This is the wheel and tires I ran last season, it is a good setup. I ended the season first in CAM C and third overall in PAX

I think the 19’s are a great option, and frankly have a set, that I may decide to run Nankang with. But the 19’s I’d at least do ZLE offset, 19x11 / 19x12… they fit fine on SS.. a little poke out front but no grinding necessary and can go 305/30/19 FRT and 325/30/19 Rear once available.

As to why the 12’s… another good question, a good friend and fast competitor runs his ZL1 with 18x11 square and is right there at the top of the board. I just prefer to stretch the tire as much as possible… think Porsche.

Best regards,
Dave
