Newbie Here

Good Evening Forum. In the next couple of months I plan on purchasing my first camero. I am very eager and excited to own my very own. The question I have this evening is, Will a $5000 down payment and a estimated $1200 in a trade in be sufficient enough to purchase the base 1LT 2.0L? Thanks

Hi and welcome.
Its enough to get you started and if your credit is good, payments will be pretty reasonable with that much down on a base model. Use one of the many financial calculators online to help.
In fact, you dont need to put anything down but thats up to you and your personal financial situation.

One prerequisite though is to make sure spell check knows "Camaro"

Yes it all depends on your credit, and how much you can afford a month.

You can walk away with no money down if your credit is right. Just the more assets you have to put down the less you will owe and the lower your payments will be. Also when you put up a significant amount of cash you're in a better position later should you want to upgrade to a higher trim.

I traded in my 2015 LT Camaro 18 months later and I was owed money.

My 2014 Camaro I bought, I put nothing down and traded in my 01 for $700.

First rule of ownership is you have to learn how to spell it correctly
