Cam swap without removing oil pump

Might be a dumb question, but can you see the mark under the oil pump to get the cam sprocket to line up with the pump still installed? I already have a melling pump and don't want to remove it if I don't have to.

You can see it from the top, you also have the key way for the oil pump drive gear that can be referenced. I'm going off memory but I think it is around 1:30 position at tdc but all can be easily confirmed before teardown.
Take your timing cover off, set at tdc and make a couple marks to infuse your reassembly with confidence.

Okay so can you see it with LS2 dampener installer? Because I'm pretty sure I won't be able to ...

You'll drop the chain and remove the dampener to do the swap anyways.. you'll see the marks without pulling the oil pump after that.

Can't remove the dampener with the pump in. For future reference, you can slightly see the mark if you remove the oil pump cover and gears.
