Code P2097 and downpipe
I have recently changed the downpipe with the catted ZZPerformance.
Everything went smooth for a couple of weeks but yesterday I got a P2097 code. I have checked all bolts and connections and all looks OK. I cannot see any sign of leaks. Any suggestions on what else to check? |

Start the machine is correct. The b1s2 o2 sensor will read more flow than the oem and it can trigger multiple codes. Did you install the extended the downpipe come with it? I kept throwing a p013f due to it and wiped it out on a tune.

Yes, the extension is installed. I'll have the car tuned in the near future and I want to be sure these codes are somewhat "normal" after the downpipe change

I don't know for sure, but it seems that every little performance part you throw into it, the PCM does not like it at all and throw some type of code. I know adding stuff for more air and fuel will change the way your b1s1 tells the pcm to either toggle lean or rich.
A tune will be able to disable codes and balance out what you put on it or replaced with better.

I just got Stainless Works axel back, and a week later I got P2097, but a month ago i did get a catback but didn’t like it, so that why I went to axel back, so therefore I had to get the OEM exhaust welded back on, i don’t know if maybe they didn’t weld it back on correctly
So that’s what’s causing the code |

I get that code from time to time. It is stating b1 s2 reading too lean. I'll get it if I stay in gear and let the rpms come down. You will need a tune to fix that. I just haven't gotten the chance to permanently erase it.
