SS1LE and ZL1 wheel stance
I know both the SS1LE & ZL1 have the same sized wheels. But why do the SS1LE wheels stick out from the fenders compared to the ZL1? Does the ZL1 have wider fenders? Are the 1LE wheels different offset. Anyways I Don't care for the stance of the 1LE, just looks a bit off

I do believe the ZL1 has wider fenders than the other submodels.

Fender widths
The ZL1 is three tenths of an inch wider that the other models but has a smaller track width than the other models.

Wheel Stance
How you doing LT4 Greg. I finished my paint correction and applied the Kamikaze VSM 1.0 ceramic coating and it came out really good. Thinking about ceramic coating my wheels next.

My 1LE next to the boss man's ZL1 vert. It's tough to notice the width unless they're parked side by side.

I believe the fenders themselves are about a half-inch wider on ZL1s. I don't believe the chart above reflects that. The sheetmetal, from the front of the doors, is ZL1-specific.

I honestly don't notice much difference in stance, but the ZL1 wheels are unfortunate while the 1LE are excellent, at least imo... that's what I notice!

I LOVE the stance of the SS 1LE. It is the ONLY car I have owned that I didn't feel the need to add spacers to.
I think GM nailed the stance both in fender flush and fender gap. To me, it has the best stance of all the Camaro models. You want to see wheels that stick out, look at the ZLE

Slightly wider fenders on the ZL1 vs the SS 1LE is what makes the stance different.

I am not really sure why some folks think that the product bulletin that is put out by Chevy would be wrong. It clearly states that the ZL1 is 75.0" and the other models are 74.7". Since 3/8" is equal to .375" I am really unsure why it is not clear to people. .300" just a tad over 5/16". I don't really think too many people can stand 10 feet away from the front of a car and discern 5/16" in width. Maybe they can, but who am I do argue with them. Math is finite, the eyes are not.

I'm sorry. .300" us just a tad under 5/16". My bad.
