ANNOYING VISOR MAKE-UP MIRROR

Maybe I'm alone with this one, but has anyone else found the driver's side sunvisor make up mirror a distraction? Flip the visor down to block the sun and the bright, light grabbing mirror reflects back at you. Chevy cheaped out by not equipping the car with the usual flip cover design.
I drive my vert sparingly, but when I do the top is dropped for sunny motoring. Plan to block the mirror with a thin piece of cardboard or an old credit card painted flat black. Thoughts ?

It's the same in my vert. but I wear a ballcap, so I don't really see a problem.

My wife says the whole visors are so cute. (Tiny and useless)

Wow, I didn’t know this….. coupe owner here, I’m shocked they used a different set of visors for convertibles.

my '23 Coupe has the cover over the mirror. Did they really not put covers on the Vert visor mirrors? Seems like a really weird change..

Someone told me that GM couldn't make the mirror flaps aerodynamic enough to not catch the wind at highway speeds and blow right off. Not sure it that's true, but makes a little bit of sense to me.

Not only no cover, but no lights. My wife was pissed when she saw that.

Weird.. I guess the lights are activated by the cover but still, very odd.

I guess if the thing flies off with wind that may be a good reason to change it
