New to the forum late to the pre-order game...

Morning all! I reside in CA (Granite Bay/Sacramento) area. I'm looking for a recommendation on a MSRP dealer (in or out of state, closer the better) who will still take an order on a '23/'24 ZL1 1LE. Am I too late to the game or might there still be a chance to build one of these rad-rides? If so, who are the "best-chance" dealers to place an order with? My apologies if this information is already in another thread...if it is, perhaps you might kindly direct my path.

Greatly appreciate any insight throw my way.

Chuck

Good luck on your search and welcome. Sorry I can’t help you, but I hope you find what you’re looking for. You’ll be getting the best Camaro.

I placed an order with Stingray in Florida last month for a 2SS convertible. Probably too far for you so I am sure someone will Chime in with an MSRP dealer closer to you. I am too wondering if I'll ever see it. Word on the street is that 2024 is the last year. If that's true should we both should be OK even if it takes awhile. However, if the constraints get worse I can see GM throwing in the towel and letting the Camaro just fade away with the 23.

I could see 2023 being the last year if things don’t improve. Maybe do a 1 off special edition to close things out in 2023. I ordered my 2023 2 SS convertible in May to make sure it came. Luckily you are still early enough to maybe secure a 23

You really need to find a dealership that deals in a higher volume of Camaros so they would get a better chance of an allocation. That being said you have to weigh how high up on the list you are for a ZL1 1LE or a ZL1 in general. If your build is on constraint they will go to the next person. It’s kind of a balancing act but it’s kinda moot at this point because they are making about 5 ZLE’s a month it seems. Good luck. I’ve been playing the game for about 4 months now.

This is not true. I went with a family owned small dealership in Jacksonville, FL that sells at MSRP and only a 500 dealer fee and had an allocation in exactly 5 days. Chevy is not liking dealers charging ADM’s and are punishing them with limited allocations

I ordered through Stingray Chevrolet also. No allocations yet. So still not technically ordered.

Is is reasonable to just order from a dealership in Lansing, MI and pay for the transport after dealer takes delivery?

I ordered through George Moore Chevrolet in Jacksonville. Jackson is the inventory/ordering manager and is always available. Best experience ever so far

That’s awesome for you. The ZL1’s, especially the 1LE’s seem to be a different animal to try to procure. I’m at a mix of small and large dealerships at the moment waiting for one of them to call with a ZL1 allocation, when the 1LE isn’t on constraint. Every dealer I put a deposit with was MSRP. A few would honor the supplier discount.
