Go to chevrolet.com and build a car, when you get to trims, click "compare trims"
The diffs are extensive |

1. HUD (Heads up display) 2. Cross traffic alert and blind spot monitoring 3. Leather seats 4. Dual HVAC, heater 5. Interior lighting options 6. Cool/heating ventilation seats 7. Bose Audio 8. Wireless charging pad 9. Heated steering wheel I'm sure there's more but those are the main ones for me. I was cross shopping hard between the two and to be honest, the leather seats are only the really thing that I want from a 2SS. For some it's worth the 5k diff. but for myself the 1SS is perfect. I added an SS badge to the cloth seats and really looks good. Keep in mind, the cloth seats on the 1SS are awesome seats as well. Just looks kind of plain without the SS emblem. |

$5k. That is about it.
First car I have ever owned without leather and no regrets. |

Depends who you ask, to me it was 100% worth the extra money for the the 2SS. Biggest for me is the HUD, heated leather, blindspot monitor, and Bose.

I admittdly did not read all the difference between 1ss and 2ss when purchasing my car, but every single day I'm more content that I spent the extra money and went with the 2ss.. The comfort and conveniences it brings are incredible if this is your DD, which for me it is.
Find the list, but you'll see that it is pretty extensive and IMO well WORTH every penny. I do wish they added a few small things like front mounted parking sensors. That is a huge thing for me that this car should come with. |

I really wanted red interior, so it was basically a no brainer for me.

See the thread below. It has a very good break down of what is included and what is unique about each SS trim.

I had dual climate control in my Vette and always kept it the same temp bc I was too damn paranoid and OCD and thought varying temps would mess up the system.....I still am like this in my gmc too lol.
I don't care about heated steering wheels and heated seats, those options never get used in south Louisiana anyway lol The only option I personally found useful to the 2SS were the leather additions, but the cool thing is, is that some of the panels (like the knee pads for example) just pop out of place, so it's not that big of a project to just wrap them in leather, which will be my next little project.....the dealership ****ed up my door panel so they are replacing it and letting me keep my original one, so I'll be able to practice with that and add my leather to the door and knee pads. I would like to add the illuminated door sills though.....that seems a little tougher than the leather though
