Ditch the Volant PowerCore. It's a fantastic filter, as far as filtering the air goes. It will keep microscopic dirt out of your engine. Probably the best filter available if your goal is to keep your engine clean. If your goal is power, it will rob you of HP on the top end. I used to run that filter and I was disappointed with my performance at the track. I switched to a Z-28 CAI and ran 7/10ths quicker and 4mph faster in the 1/4 mile.

Whats your budget? Other than the cam and full bolt on's, your on the right track. If your going to try to squeeze every last bit of power out of those parts, then you may want to look into different CAI and headers. People will argue that it doesn't really matter what you buy, but if your trying to get all you can get out of the car then it does matter. ARH or Kooks headers are at the top of the list. CAI inc or ADM along with an OTR system will help get you there. Also consider some extras like a UDP. Full bolt on's is where I was with out cam I was 421 on a mustang dyno. No cam. don't forget the tune.

You may want to upgrade your half shafts, people have been known to break them on a stock power plant.

Or you could just bolt on a couple turbos and be done with it.
