19 SS Lower Grille
I just bought a 2019 SS 2SS a couple days ago and unfortunately I live in a state that has a front license plate. So after I get the car home and attempt to put the bracket that was in the trunk on the front, I discover the lower grille is broken. Grrr! I found an aftermarket one on ebay for $184. An OEM grille is $360. Has anyone bought an aftermarket lower grille, and can you tell easily that it is not OEM. It looks just like OEM in the pictures.
Thanks! Jeff |

Sto N Show License Plate Bracket
Quote:
https://youtu.be/b5X0kJv7Fww Check out this video, this license plate bracket is really clever, as the owner of the camaro shows the install, he also removes the front bracket portion by pulling a pin and taking plate off, pretty cool. There's also an electric version called Show N Go from a different manufacturing company, that once installed uses a key fob remote, push a button and bracket slides under front bumper, I seen some people say after a while of use, the bracket motor starts to fail or rust, you can look them up and make your choice, sto n show looks the better choice and a really quick install. Hope these help choices help you out. |

The Sto'n'Sho plate holder in the previous post is a great idea. Depending on how seriously no front plate as an offense is taken, you could store the holder with the plate in the trunk and only pop it on when absolutely necessary, keeping the front looking good. (I did this for a while while living in NJ, and never got pulled over for no front plate.)

I need to pay closer attention to the original post, needing lower grille, DUH, still hope the idea for a front plate bracket helps you out. I did see a listing on ebay for a lower grille, try this out, Genuine GM Front Lower Grille 84524888, $382.85 free shipping, like arpad_m said not cheap, BUT, you are getting genuine gm parts meant for our camaro's. Just do a google search for that part number, sure you'll find reliable sites that sell gm parts for cheaper than what you can find on ebay. Be careful of those chinese aftermarket grilles, they may look oem, BUT, probably not fit perfect like oem, if you can find an aftermarket company here is the U.S, and their a reliable company, okay. Hope this helps, Good luck with your search. Last edited by TRUEOGRE2SS; 01-25-2026 at 01:31 PM. Reason: wrong number |
