Vibration at 2k rpm
Anyone ever run a lightweight flywheel with a monster triple disc? Got done with my build and been driving the car doing break in on the clutch and all sudden I have a vibration that starts at about 1600rpm and peaks at 2k rpm and goes away at about 2300 rpm. It does it with the clutch engaged or disengaged, with the trans in neutral or in gear or while moving or at a stand still. I talked to monster clutches and they said it’s not the clutch but that it’s a whole number of other things like the exhaust rubbing or engine or trans mounts. It has BMR Polly mounts and the stock trans mount and the car has 4k miles on it. Just strange it didn’t do it and then it started doing it. Just trying to see if anyone else has ran into this before I pull the trans and send the clutch to my machine shop to check balance and try just putting the stock clutch in and see what happens. Thanks. The car is a 2022 ZL1.
