2020 ZL1 hood wont close or open

Topped off the oil before a ride, when I closed the hood it did not close all the way. It is stuck about 2 inches open and will not close or open. The lever under the hood you pull to open the hood is completely jammed, cannot move it in any direction. Any ideas on how to fix this. Tried W40 and prying with screwdrivers, cannot get anything to move. Will take 98 Trans Am for a ride instead. Photos attached.

Did you leave the oil cap off and it's stuck between the hood and bumper?

You need to force the hood down and at the same time push the safety latch. Then once it's cleared, open the hood. Then remove whatever you left there that's jamming everything

Thank you Sir Bishopts, that's exactly what this dumb old bastard did :0 Just got home from Trans AM ride took a good look with a flashlight and there was the oil cap! Took a wooden yard stick and a hammer and dislodged the oil cap. All is good now, ready for a nice drive tomorrow Thank you again Sir!!!

It happens to the best of us. At least you caught it there and not driving down the road wondering why your engine is smoking and leaking oil all over.
