Emblem measurements?

Hey everyone. This is probably going to be a strange ask but, when I got my car back from the hail damage they didn't put the rear deck lid chevy symbol or the rear bumper ZL1 badge back on. Is there a schematic of some sort that says where they should be placed? I know where they go, I just didn't know if GM had a measurement schematic for their exact location. Thanks for any help!

WOW That sucks about the fail damage, glad it was fixable ! When I replaced my carbon fiber black gloss hood insert with an exposed carbo finger hood insert and I had to add the ZL1 hood insert emblem's on each side. I measured the proximity of the originals, and transferred that using tape for reference. I made sure they were at the correct angle and PRESETO! I got them wrong slightly. But, no one but I will ever notice! My point being, someone here can give you the approximate locations and then you can add them where they generally go. Just make sure they are aligned like they should be, and DON'T press them on too hard at first, until you like what you see! Good luck!

LOL! Glad you found my pic. I was just about to look for that. The pic was for someone else asking for dimensions. I have never had to replace any of my emblems so this is the factory location.

This is from the day mine got delivered to the dealership. Mine from the factory are located below the rear parking sensors.
They've since been removed and replaced with a flat black "ZL" and flat red "1" vinyl lettering but I put the vinyl letters basically right back where the chrome "bubble" letters emblems were.To each their own though!! Put them where YOU want them!
ONCE AGAIN, SORRY FOR THE SIDEWAYS PIC!!

Hmm that's odd, if I remember correctly (I'll verify in pictures) mine were under the parking sensor as well!

I did a VERY quick Google search for "back end of ZL1" and MOST of the pics of the cars on there(that I could tell anyways)the emblems were below the parking sensors BUT, there were a few above it...interesting to say the least....not sure if model year depends on if it's above or below the sensors or if the plant workers didn't know where they were SUPPOSED to go???

You guys made me curious so I looked up a bunch of images. Seems the 2017/2018 rear has the parking sensors in different locations vs the 2019-2024 rear. This might be due to the tail light change in 2019 and redesign. The relocation of the sensors is probably why the emblem is in a different location.

Anyone have measurements for the 2019-2024 model year by chance then?

I think you could have a very good point and could be spot on here with your assessment!

Maybe this will help, I have a 2023 ZL1 Automatic: Note the vertical measurements are to the Green line form center of sensor to center of sensor. That green line was not exactly level from center of sensor to center of sensor.
