Turbo Kit LT1 SS
Looking for a turbo kit single or twin set up for my 2016 Camaro ss. Are there any good options besides Huron and hellion? Any recommendations are welcome. Thanks

Those are the two major, and pretty much only, choices. Outside of that you can custom build a setup and a couple of guys in this forum went that route.

Yeah I’m looking at the hellion kit. I’m already at 515rwhp PRC heads and stage 1 cam 8spd. Looking for 650-700whp.

You will be adding a lot of complexity to the car by going twin turbo. A simple procharger or magnuson setup will hit those power goals very easily.

I realize that and totally agree. There are pros and cons with either set up. I have had superchargers, Procharger’s, Vortech, PD, and currently the car is set up with nitrous. I want something different, more efficient, more room to grow, and just plain looks and sounds better. Everybody has a supercharger. Next year plan will be to upgrade the internals, lower compression and go for 900+hp. As it stands, with a 75 shot my 2013 rwd BMW M5 (4.4 twin turbo stage 2) will absolutely destroy my Camaro 0-60, 60-120 and after 130-140 there is absolutely no comparison. By the way I’m already running e85 with the Camaro. I’m not sure exact dyno #’s since it was dynod in 4th gear. I’m pretty sure I’ll be going with the hellion kit. I’ll be installing it by myself in my garage. It will take some time since I work 40-60hr/week. Thank you guys for the responses.

Huron Speed is a great company to work with. Highly recommended.

Just to update: I went with Huron TT kit. Also picked up a JMS voltage booster and zl1 lp in tank hat. In the end the Huron kit was easier to install and 3k cheaper. I’ll be installing everything in my garage.

Port injection should be high on the priority list, after that it will depend on the intended use. Are you just roll racing?

Just looking to have some fun with it. If I do race it will be from a roll. Going to max out my current fuel set up and see what it puts down. Next year I’ll go with gpi drop in pistons/rods then look at port injection. Of course I’ll up the boost at that point. For now 5-7psi will probably put me over 700whp.
