Clutch delay valve

Has anyone played with removing the clutch delay valve under the dash? I believe mine is possibly blocked, as the clutch pressure, engagement point and overall feel is starting to be random. I have replaced the fluid and it was better this after noon, but sometimes its still seems like clutch engagement and disengagement is overly delayed, then the peddle pressure is soft initially, then a few shifts it may or may not come back.

Seems the dodge boys remove theirs on the hellcats, with positive results. Maybe I will just buy a replacement and swap it out, and see what happens.

Welcome any input.

When I was looking into an LT1 or an SS, the dealer told me there is no clutch delay valve.
