Possible suspension alternative - Annex Suspension
Any interest out there for another high-end ($4.5-5K?) aftermarket option?
I'm not super fast or anything but the lack of roll stiffness and rollover in the SS1lE stock suspension, even with YYZ springs, is not that pleasant to me. I spoke with Annex at Wekfest in NorCal. They are similar to Fortune auto BUT seem to really know their stuff and seem concerned about getting damping ranges and stuff set up for the car right. e.g. They dont do a two-way inline damper; only remote to avoid crosstalk. They had some really trick in-house camberplates too with high-end captured hardware. Anyway, I'm thinking of taking my car in to have it scanned to see if they can come up with a solution that will rival a 2-way remote MCS damper, but at 70% of the cost. Moreover, he was pretty adamant that the damping tuning would come out better matched and present a narrower (and thus more effective) range than typical MCS. I know Vorshlag has their own MCS offering, and can't speak to them, but they're inlines for ~$4500 IIRC. Any interest out there for another aftermarket option? Seems there's really only MCS and I guess Detroit Speed? Ohlins gave up on Camaro. Nitron doesn't have anything. Fortune auto spring rates were a joke, and they aren't taking this platform seriously. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Looks like nice stuff. If the quality and durability match their confidence on the damping, competition is always good for the market.
But, kinda off topic, I have the Hotchkiss adjustable front anti roll bar and the BMR adjustable rear. I have the front set at full stiff and the rear in the middle hole on my '22 SS 1LE. No other suspension changes to the car which sees street and road course use. Goodyear 3Rs on the track. Car is pretty flat the the corners and the car feels great.

^^good feedback there. i haven't delved into researching ARBs yet, but that might be the way i go for the mid-term.
What endlinks and brackets are you using? |

I am using the supplied Hotchkiss brackets up front and I made a set of custom brackets and spacers with the BMR rear bar. Here is a link with my post showing my brackets:
https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showt...9#post11403849 As for the endlinks, I am using the SPL links. I also tuned the lengths for anti roll bar preload and responsiveness.

for me, it's appealing because you can get a 2-way remote setup for not-four-figures and they seem to be committed to support and quality over quantity when it comes to offerings. i wouldn't go w/ KW or megan et al either. even KWs solution for the C8 is sus to me. |

I'd be intrigued by another 2 way remote option. I love the 2 way silvers coilovers I have now but the adjustment on the rear are not convenient to make. They have reservoirs but they're attached to the shock itself. MCS is obviously great stuff and with limited options for our cars they've kinda cornered the market.
If I can get a quality set of 2 way remotes for 70% of the MCS, I think I'd be interested. |

I wrote this in your other identical thread before I realized you posted here, too. "Crosstalk" in a suspension isn't a thing in suspensions. That's a concept for charlatans and people who believe in magic dust and voodoo. And even if it were a thing, remote reservoirs would have nothing to do with it. If these guys told you that, you need to run away as fast as you can and block all their calls and emails.

But if inline two ways are just as good as remotes, less some heat capacity, please, I'm all ears. |

I hope they do make a kit for the 6th gen, since they seem to be quality coilovers. I'm on the fence on getting replacement shocks for my SS 1LE or a set of coilovers.
