"Heads Up Display"......Windscreen replacement?
If windscreen requires replacement, is it necessary to replace it with a particular type of windscreen that is HUD compatible, or will all windscrens do the job, in that the HUD image will be reflected in them?

There is a HUD-specific windshield, and that one should be used as a replacement on HUD-equipped cars. The "standard" windshield will cause ghosting in the HUD image.

Definitely costs more too... just be glad you don't have lane departure because that is an extra couple hundred dollars as well.
