Share your Stock 60-130 times!

I wanted to see what everyone gets on their stock zl1s. My personal best was a 7.9 at 59 degree weather 900 DA. I think with better conditions I could hit 7.7-7.8

You 10 speed or 6mt? I’m anxious to run one stock, but I want to hit 1500 miles first.

If I had to guess, my ZL1 1LE M6 is prolly in the low 8-second range if I can get traction. I'll try to do that in the next few weeks. I'll be doing a lot of runs and data logs for one of my cars soon so, that'll be the time to bust that out.

Comparing it to my Z06 which was comfortably in the low 7-second, high 6-second range, that feels about right. My TT feels around twice as fast as the ZL1 so, that's giving me the basis to believe it's around a low 8. I suspect that a regular ZL1 A10 would be a hair quicker.

I am an 10 speed lol. I floored it without a break-in period. You should let your car get used to driving fast.

I'm mostly stock, just have a K&N carbon fiber intake and a Tony Mamo ported OEM TB on my '21 ZL1, stock tune; my 60-130 mph time is 7.51 sec. That same run I went 129.2 mph in the 1/4 mile but had a horrible 2.40 sec 60' (run was on a flat dusty back road) so my trap speed could be higher. This was with a 2,000' DA and full weight (even had my gym bag in the trunk), ~1/2 tank of fuel, A10.

That’s a ripper on the stock tune! Just pump 93 in the tank?

91, actually. We don’t have 93 here. The air was cool so I think that helped prevent MAT pulling timing. Since then I’ve started mixing in 100 octane to get 92+ in the tank. I think it helps esp. when it’s hot out.

Where have you found 100 unleaded? I thought 100LL airplane fuel might work, but it still has lead.

There’s a place locally that sells Sunoco 260 GT in 5 gal pails. I pour it into a 1-gal fuel can and add it to the tank that way. You can check the Sunoco website for local distributors wherever you live. It’s crazy expensive right now, though ($17/gal).

That's pretty much GT500 numbers. Hard to believe with your mods in 2000DA.
Maybe the 2021's are faster or you have a "factory freak"
Either way, go on with your bad self

Yeah. On one hand I was torn because 7.5 sec 60-130 is really moving, but the ZL1 fast list includes several ZL1s in the 128+ mph range that are stock. The DA was high but the air was cool (low 50s F if I recall), which certainly helped with MAT timing. Given GM claimed 11.4@127 mph for the A10, 129.2 mph with those couple of mods isn’t far fetched in cool air. I did multiple before and after slower speed runs (60-100) and the K&N+ported TB was definitely faster on every single pull in about the same conditions. I waited a few days and put on some miles before doing the after tests.
