Question about the BMR Cradle lockout
I was ready to order, so I reached out to BMR to see what all they would recommend to go along with the cradle upgrade. I was told "You can’t use the rear cradle brace because of the electronic diff. The [bushing kit] will do the same thing."
So they are recommending I just do the bushing kits (the rear cradle one and the differential lockout one) instead of the brace. If I had never read anything on here, that would sound fine, but it seems like many other zl1 guys have done the cradle lockout (the chassis brace parts). Am I mistaken? I want to be sure before I order anything. What exact parts have you guys used?

Yes, the rear cradle brace you can NOT do in a zl1 cause of the e-diff.
You can do the front candle braces if you want.http://m.bmrsuspension.com/?page=pro...productid=1640 Past that just the lock out kit is needed along with new tty bolts. |
