Exhaust Fumes in Cabin

Had my 2023 LT1 for a couple of weeks now. Working on 800 miles.
When the engine get s warm and you are parked and idling, there is a smell that works it's way into the cabin. It smells like exhaust fumes, but I'm not sure. It does not smell when the care is in motion.

Any ideas???

I do not know about Camaro because I don't have mine yet, but my experience with cars is it will happen if there is an exhaust header leak or where the header and exhaust pipe connection. Do you get exhaust in the cabin when the A/C or heater is off?

Do not ignore it because it is hazardous.

My 2020 2 SS 1LE is the same way I think. When ever I get out of my car after driving awhile my clothes smell like exhaust. I checked everything and didn’t find a problem. I had the dealer check it when I had some other service. And they said they didn’t smell anything or find anything.

Some 21 and later Camaros with the a10 have had a smell issue coming in thru the ventilation system when the vehicle is warm and the vehicle is not moving. There was a thread some time ago that indicated that the a10 trans vent is near the air intake. The thread indicated that the Chevy dealer contacted GM tech line and they have this issue in their system. The resolution for this was to extend the vent away from the ventilation air intake. I have the same issue on my 21 rs vert with a v6 motor- a10 transmission. Will be taking it into the dealer in the spring when I pull it out of hibernation. Hope this info helps.

Too be somewhat expected when idling and not in motion, I doubt fumes vice you can smell something though. Check HVAC is set to not bring in outside air, drop the windows etc. I doubt you have a real problem with the car.
