Unhappy Fixing Frozen Lifter

I am in week 10 of my specialty Chevy dealer fixing my frozen lifter. According to my trusted GMC dealer this happens to the Camaros and Cadillacs. Motor went limp with "service rear end soon" message and the end of my third track day in a row. Temperatures all perfect.

1) Waiting for lifters, replace the entire bank
2) Debugging ignition codes
3) OOPS, bent push rod
4) Head needs to be sent out to a local shop
5) 15% of time the cam is damaged, was it checked?

Lower rev limiter to save motor?

2022 ZL1 1LE 6 speed
Track prepped per GMC guide
Track Camber set
10 track days (Road courses)
4800 miles

Because gm used the ac Delco lifters with the solenoid in them even in our cars which do not have the AFM/DOD(I forget the name) active. It sucks. Only way to really fix is different lifters and that ain't happening under warranty

So this is something that happens to the Camaro and Cadillac engines? This is the first time I've heard of an LT4 (for the ZL1) having this issue.

It's very infrequent on cars that have DoD (AFM) deactivated, OP is really unfortunate

I think I have read on the forum that there are no aftermarket lifters available for our cars with stock cam. That was a few years ago. Is this still true?

Red face Pumpkin back on the track

My 2022 ZL1 1LE Vivid Orange Camaro is back on the street after 13 weeks!!! Turned out that multiple lifters were frozen during the repair process. Also bent pushrods were found. Heads and cam is OK. Still having problems filling the beast with gas. I will engage a dealer with your suggestions after my track days at Laguna Seca and ThunderHill. I can't stand being off the track and stuck in the dealer!
