Belt and pulley help please

Today I’m trying to install an A/C belt that was missing from my ZLE that I purchased at auction with existing mods. It appears that the OEM size belt is too small to fit on the aftermarket pulley. It says stretch to fit but it seems like a stretch to think it’s going to fit. The tool I bought to help guide the belt on seems useless for this application too. Is it possible that with the aftermarket pulley it doesn’t use an OEM size belt? If so how would I determine which belt to use and how do I install it?

Also wondering if the blower pulley is too big to use on the road course. I rarely stay out the full 20 minute session but I’m concerned about heat soak.

I really don't know why these stretch to fit belts have become a thing in the recent years in the automotive industry. It's actually really annoying.

What size is your blower pulley? I'm going to assume that the lower is the one which is aftermarket and measures 9.17?

The grove for the ac belt should not be any different than stock size. It needs to go around the crank pulley first and gets walked on to the ac compressor.

Correct.... Lower pulley size is irrelevant for the AC belt.
I was also frustrated with how challenging it was to install.

I started with a full wrap on crank pulley, and started the wrap on the AC pulley using my thumb then eventually some tools to start the alignment while my son used a large wrench to turn the motor in that direction. Took several tries and lots of cussing but i finally got it.

Same here! We had the blower pulley off and out of the way. Ended up being a 2 person job to get that damn stretchy A/C belt back on.

Thanks everyone, since the lower is aftermarket I wasn’t sure.
