Is this the M6 bog issue?
I bought a 2020 Camaro SS 1LE M6 not too long ago.
After owning the car for awhile, I noticed that it bogs when trying to get going from a stop in snow/ice mode and track mode. In touring/sport mode, it just gets connected smoothly and gets going. While testing in track mode, I tried every combination of stability control/Traction control on/off and also every PTM mode and couldn't get it to go away. The only way to get going smoothly is to give it little to no gas or by aggressively adding throttle while the clutch is slipping (letting off the clutch quickly but not dropping it). I stuck with track mode for a month just to get used to it and can get going smoothly with light or heavy throttle, but anywhere between those two extremes just bogs. Imagine watching a camaro starting to move from a stop, see the weight transfer to the back a bit, then the frontend just dips for a moment, then the weight transfers to the back (at which point, the car then works normally). I feel like I drove enough in track mode to get used to the throttle input, just can't get it smooth with moderate throttle. I looked on the the forums, looks like a tune and/or a ported throttle body helps? Thanks |

The pedal map is less agressivr in track and ice. Give more throttle in those modes

So I spent a month driving in track mode and trying varying levels of throttle, speed of clutch release, and different modes. Unless I'm almost giving it no throttle or aggressively add a lot of throttle quickly (essentially launching the car somewhat hard), it bogs. |
