Containment seats

I kinda went down a rabbit hole recently watching videos and reading forums with regards to safety on the track. Now I have some expedited plans to replace my current setup. I have sparco evo L and XL seats that I'll be getting rid of and replacing with containment seats, and replacing my recently installed bolt in roll bar with a full cage.

My question is, what full containment seats has anyone installed that fit in our cars? I'm not a little guy, I have the Evo XL on the driver's side now. I'm about 6' 230, not skinny. I haven't seen any halo seats in the cars I've seen at the track, and I think maybe 1 picture on here that I can recall(red car, fully gutted?)

Specifically, I've been looking at this seat. The Sabelt GT Pad. It's pretty wide in the shoulders though.

I decided to pass on that seat, it's over 2 inches wider at the shoulders than my EVO XL, no way it's going to fit. I think the Sparco circuit II will squeeze in the car though.

I just started looking at fire suppression systems, the car won't be very easy to get in and out of so it's definitely a smart idea. Would be nice if we could get a quick release steering wheel in there to help with getting out of it also. Have you installed fire suppression? Suggestions?

I installed two Sparco circuit II seats tonight. In case anyone is curious the fit is good. I have about a quarter inch or so between the seat and the door. They're significantly deeper than the Evo seats, and narrower in the side in the thigh area but much more supportive overall. The halo does cut into your view just a bit but I can't see it causing any issues on track. Next track day is after Thanksgiving so we'll see for sure then.

Next investment is definitely fire suppression, getting out of the car quickly will be difficult, especially after the full cage goes in.

I don't think I've ever seen them, not at the track and they were not at the local store where I got the Sparco seat from.

I have not installed fire suppression but it is always on my mind. The fact that we cannot fit through the window with a helmet on bothers me.

Life Line for surprecent system for sure!
In my Camaro and Huracan.
A must in both cars! Twin turbo on Huracan and if an oil line let's loose on H car it would be a bad day!

Love it, one day mine will just turn into a full track car. Even though it lives more on the track then the street now.

I have Racetech seats and love them they also have the same seat with a halo.
