Wait for new, or pay more than new for a used car with 50k miles.
![]() If it's of any consolation, we are all in the same boat. I still don't have an order number, not even sure if my car is ever going to be allocated. |

This is the BRILLANCE of Mary Barra.
We stop making Camaros in 2024, but we continue to distribute the ones we built way into 2030. That's why she gets the big bucks. So this happened: I contacted an advisor through Chevy.com and they set me up to get weekly updates. I called on 5 August. They said my next weekly update would be 20 August. The reason why these cars aren't shipping is that nobody can read a calendar. |

You should have an order number if your dealer placed the order. At least 1100 meaning it was submitted.

I'm sure it's a miscommunication, I'll be more firm in my requests at the two month mark. Side note, I'm at ToTD at the moment. |

You need to order from a different dealer. You should have an order code the day you order the car, zero excuses. I was in and out of my dealer in less than a half hour with my printed workbench order sheet. Your dealer should be able to get you an allocation within a month unless you’re dealing with some tiny mom n pop dealer or ordering a ZL1LE.

Not there yet. I'll give them a chance for a few months. I'm not in any hurry. I still need to sell another car to make room, and I want to reorganize the garage. The timeline of 6 to 9 months is actually a benefit.
