Battery life
My 19 1LE at 2 years 8 months emailed me a low battery alert, sure enough after a 26 mile drive home I’m only at 12.56 volts resting. Is this a warranty issue for replacement? Just under 6000 miles, thx.

Take it to the dealer and let them test the battery and charging system.

My car is a '20. Sat on the dealer lot for around 8-9 months after being delivered and I purchased in June of '20. This spring, at about 2 years "in service" and around 7500 miles, they replaced my battery under warranty.
I had to jump start the car to get it running after sitting in storage for the winter. That, combined with a variety of oddities that I've reported since purchasing the car allowed them more history to what was up. The first load/charge test passed. They ran it again at the suggestion of the service manager (whom I have a decent relationship with) and they saw it fail so they replaced it. |

My battery was replaced at 35 months under warranty. I had to take it to the dealership to be tested. It failed the test so they replaced it.

Do most of the 'tenders' have the ability to handle AGM's reasonably well? I have ones from both Schneider and Battery Tender that indicate that they support AGM's and they are all at least ten years old.

I would expect a 3 yr old AGM to do better than 12.56. I would expect 12.7-12.8 V. It would definitely be good to know the voltage without the surface charge. |

Coming up on four years and almost 60,000 miles. Still have the original battery with no issues.

I have the NOCO also, it takes it up to 14.4 charging which is ideal for agm style. Hadn’t completed full charge yet then I will load test it.

I put a lot of faith in my NOCO Genius 7200. That has a dual mode for flooded battery and AGM. I had some electrical problems on a jet ski and realized this charger was only taking my AGM's to 12.3 V. Read a few articles and this is kind of a known issue. The recommendation was to go with CTEK, which has a DEDICATED AGM mode. So I got my CTEK MXS 5.0 off amazon and that takes my newer AGM (2020) to 12.78 V, and my 2019 AGM to 12.45. That older battery may be partially sulphated at this point due to me undercharging it for 3 years. Still starts the ski fine. The NOCO charges AGM's at 14.4 like you said. CTEK AGM mode is 14.7 V. I would sit here and tell you no big difference, but my experience tells me otherwise. The jet ski problem ended up being a dirty ground. But I learned some lessons about AGM's along the way. |

I haven't had this issue in my Camaro, but the main battery (it has two due to the start/stop system) was replaced under warranty recently after two years and 11,000 miles.
